Meeting Santa

Eliza met Santa last night.
We got just the reaction we knew we'd get... and hoped we'd get.  :)

Go ahead and call us terrible parents for making her sit in his lap... but these pictures make me super happy.  :)

Okay...when did she grow up?!?!? She looks so big here! And of course that doesn't mean "chunky" big, but just grown up!
I don't think you're horrible. It's not like she'll remember anyways :)

We haven't gone to sit on santa's lap yet, but I can't wait to get these pics of my kids too, with the same results. :)

To be fair, Santa looks pretty terrified in the first photo as well!

Santa did not have a book in his hand like Grandpa. Way to go Eliza, it is not about Santa Claus it is about the Savior. And when it comes to lap sitting it is all about Grandpa!

Juli did the exact same thing! I thought she'd be ok, but apparently santa is one terrifying man.

LOL! I have so many of these pictures! They just testify to what good parents you are, after all, this is exactly the reaction you would want after extensive 'stranger danger' instruction. Right?!
Before you know it she'll be all cozied up with santa going over 10 page long wish list and shortly afterwards she'll be telling you she doesn't believe in santa because her friends told her they saw their parents putting the gifts out so she knows it's not real (that was a tough one to swallow). I'm with you...enjoy each stage as it comes, they change so quickly!!!

P.S. She really has grown...man alive time flies!!

That was how Kelli was when she was a year old. It was hilarious. I can't believe you are moving! I think that it doesn't matter where you move because wherever you go, you will make friends like crazy. People just love being around you! Good luck with everything.
